Starting with our Exhibition 'Artaud in Ireland' opening tonight at 5pm -8pm
Come hear the story of Artaud in Ireland, see Gottfried Helnwein's paintings reveal themselves. On Friday night at Sandford Church from 7pm composer Matthew Nolan will present an original live score for The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928), featuring Artaud and directed by Carl Dreyer, against a backdrop projection of the movie.
The live presentation and world premiere of a new soundtrack produced by Matthew Nolan will be in collaboration with Seán MacErlaine, Sharon Phelan, and Thomas Haugh and featuring singers from the Sandford and St Philip’s Choral Union.Tickets on eventbrite On Sunday afternoon there will be a Film Screening & Talk at IMMA from 1-3pm
