Ranelagh Arts Film Festival Day 2

9:50 am The Camp
A documentary about Ukrainian refugees living in a camp in Ireland, filmed by a former resident who reveals the daily reality, struggles, and hopes of people waiting to rebuild their lives. This film is very personal for me because I lived in the refugee camp myself after leaving Ukraine because of the war. While living there, I realized that many people outside the camp do not know what life inside these places is really like. I decided to document the everyday reality of people who are waiting for safety, stability, and a new beginning. The film shows not only the difficulties but also the resilience, strength, and humanity of people who were forced to leave their homes. With a very small team, we filmed life inside the camp to give a voice to those who are often unheard.
